That’s hilarious; those ladies on the panel love him! And “newcomer “Jon Voight:)

They definitely took a shine to him! That Jon Voight comment is hilarious – It’s like saying “Spring chicken, Al Pacino” ;D

Amazing he became a star, so small, and such a big nose ( : But actually a lot of stars from the 70s era were not so good looking.

Do you have a favourite Dustin Hoffman performance? Rain man has my vote, which I know is the obvious choice with the oscar win. I also liked the film Hero(1992), although not many other people did.

I think he has a rather good face…! As for my favourite Hoffman films, Tootsie would definitely be up there.

I love that second video. And the ads is funny. I guess all big star starts from ads

I could watch the stars on “What’s My Line?” all day. You’ll have to teach me about some of the famous Indonesian shows, especially those from previous decades!

I’ll try to find at least one, I don’t know if old shows from my country is on youtube.

I liked these videos. Dustin Hoffman is an amazing actor. It’s interesting to see him so young!

I’d love to have been around in the early days of some of my favourite actors, like Bette Davis – Imagine what it would have been like to see her on stage in the theatre 🙂

These are great. Hoffman is my favourite actor and I’ve never seen these clips before. He seems so shy in the middle film.

    Thanks for sharing.

When I watched the second one, I couldn’t believe how quiet and distant he was – It was either part of his act, or he was genuinely a shy young man – Either way, it’s great to see an actor like Hoffman at the stage when he was just starting out in the successful part of his career!

I love the VW one! Brilliant! Can’t believe I’ve never seen it before. It is so awesomely unpolished. He looks like he stumbles going over the seat. Ha!

If I was in a VW ad, I suspect it would be scaringly similar to Hoffman’s – I’m more clumsyandco, than sundryandco!
